Pricing¶
The Australian Transcription uses a pay-as-you-go credit system. No monthly subscription required.
Transcription rate¶

You are charged based on the actual duration of the audio file processed, not wall-clock time.
Free credit¶
New accounts receive $1.20 AUD in free credit upon registration — enough to transcribe up to 1 hour of audio at no cost.
Credit requirements¶

| Low balance warning | $5.00 AUD |
If your balance is below $0.50 AUD, the API returns a 402 Payment Required error when you try to submit a transcription.
Topping up¶
Add credit to your account via the Billing page in your dashboard:
- Manual top-up: Choose from preset amounts ($25, $50, $100, $250, $500) or enter a custom amount ($25–$1,000 AUD)
- Auto top-up: Automatically charge your saved card when your balance drops below a threshold
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
